IU teacher's book on 'Halal Food' published
Kushtia, November 16 (Correspondent/OurVoice) – A book titled "Principles of Halal Food", penned by Islamic University's Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies department chairman Professor Dr Mohammed Nasir Uddin, has been published recently.
The book, published by Maktabatul Hassan publication, is probably the first book on Bangla version. It is now available at the Islamic Book Fair from Friday last, sources an IU official said on Saturday.
This book highlights the principles of Halal food. Physical growth and mental development of people is achieved through food. The demand for halal food is constantly increasing worldwide. Simultaneously, the complexity of choosing halal food in the pile of food diversity is also rising. Everyone will know the clear provisions of Islam to solve all kinds of halal and safe food related problems in daily life from this book as well.
Dr Mohammed Nasir Uddin, earlier, received a prestigious degree on Shari'ah and Law from Al-Azhar University in Egypt.
