Bonn Blitz Crowned GPL BD Title Defeating Mülheim Xpress

Bonn Blitz are the new champions of the German Premier League BD 2026. In the final, the team hailing from Bonn defeated Mülheim Xpress to clinch the title.

For Bonn Blitz—who finished as runners-up in 2025—this was an unforgettable journey, marked by a blend of passion, team spirit, and exceptional performance. Alauddin was named the Player of the Tournament in this competition held in Recklinghausen. In addition to being the Player of the Final and the Player of the Tournament, he was also recognized as the Tournament's Best Batsman. Bonn Blitz captain Najib Ahmed won the award for Best Bowler of the Tournament, while wicketkeeper Rashid Rony was named the Best Fielder.

Kamal Hossain Bhuiyan, the owner and chief executive of the tournament's sponsor supermarket, 'Seven Days,' extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winning team on their title victory. Tournament organizer Rakib Khan expressed his gratitude to all participating teams and supporters for their excellent cooperation.
