JnU champion in TIB's anti-corruption debate
Dhaka, September 14 (JnU Correspondent/OurVoice): Jagannath University debating team wins the final against Dhaka University debating team in the Transparency International Bangladesh's (TIB) debate competition-2024.
TIB organized the event at the CCDB Hope Center in Savar, which was organized with the motto of "establishing an anti-corrupt and discrimination free state system new Bangladesh" under the leadership of youth. Dhaka university debating society has become runner-up.
In this competition Jagannath University student Main Al Mubashwir was the best debater in the competition and Ragib Anjum of Dhaka University was the best debater in the final session.
TIB executive director Iftekharuzzaman said, young debaters are highly relevant in realising the dream of a "New Bangladesh", is free of inequality.
Mohammad Touhidul Islam, director of TIB's Outreach and Communication Division, thanked the 96 debaters and judges, who participated in the event.
The champion team received a prize of Tk 50,000 while the runner-up team received Tk 30,000.
