IU gets new transport administrator
Kushtia, September 29 (IU Correspondent/OurVoice) – Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department's Professor M Yaqub Ali has been appointed as the new transport administrator in Islamic University in Kushtia on Sunday.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, was issued in this regard at noon. IU vice-chancellor Professor Nakib M Nasrullah appointed him to the post until further notice.
He was appointed to the post as the previous transport administrator Professor M Anowar Hossain resigned from the post following quota reform movement.
The newly appointed transport administrator said that he would work for the betterment of the transport sector with the assistance of the university's teachers and students.
