Islamic University Official Dies of COVID-19

Kushtia, June 29 (Correspondent/OurVoice): M Jaminur Rahman Dudu, an Assistant Registrar of Saddam Hossain Hall of Islamic University, died of Covid-19 on Tuesday morning.
Dudu, 50, breathed his last at his residence in Jhenaidah around 10:00 am, IU Treasurer Professor M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya said.
He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and a host of relatives. He was buried at his family graveyard after completing Namaz-e Janaza held at his residence.
He tested his Covid sample on Monday and got positive report after an hour later of his death, Alamgir said.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam, Treasurer, IU Acting Registrar, Officers’ Association, Saddam Hossain Hall Provost Professor Gutam Kumar Das and different teacher and student associations expressed their profound shock at Dudu’s demise.
They also prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
