Chapai Nawabgonj, February 09 (Nuhu Alam, Gomastapur Correspondent/ OurVoice): Eight people took the vaccine on the first day at Gomastapur in Chapai Nawabgonj.
Upazila Health Officer Dr Masud Parvez presided over the inaugural function held at the Upazila Health Complex on Sunday. Chairman of Upazila Parishad Humayun Reza was present as the chief guest and Upazila Executive Officer Mizanur Rahman was present as special guest.
Among others, Upazila Chairman Humayun Reza, freedom fighter Mostafa Kamal, Dr. Nasir Uddin and few other people received the vaccine. Till Sunday, a total of 218 people have registered for vaccination in the upazila. According to the Upazila Health Department, 604 pieces of vaccines are allocated in the first phase.
