Kushtia, December 09 (Correspondent/OurVoice): The Bangladesh Chhatra League, a student wing of ruling Awami League, on Wednesday dissolved its Islamic University unit committee as the tenure of the unit committee expired.
A press release, signed by BCL central committee president Al Nahian Khan Joy and its general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya, was issued in this regard around 12:00 pm.
The central committee’s general secretary told Our Voice that they had taken the decision to dissolve the university unit committee in a meeting of the executive body.
`We’ve invited curriculum vitae from president and general secretary candidates for the next committee, which will be formed soon’ BCL central committee social service affairs secretary Shaikh Shadhin M Shahed said.
Aspiring candidates for the posts of president and general secretary in the university unit’s next committee must submit their CV to the central committee within seven days, he added.
S M Robiul Islam Polash and Rakibul Islam were the president and the general secretary of the dissolved committee.
