Chapai Nawabgonj, February 06 (Nuhu Alam, Gomastapur Correspondent/ OurVoice): Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council held a bi-annual conference at Rahanpur in Gomastapur.
The conference was organized by the Gomastapur branch of Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council at Rahanpur on Friday. Convener of Chapai Nawabganj District Puja Celebration Council Dablu Kumar Ghosh inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, while Gomastapur Upazila Puja Council President Mantosh Kumar Chakraborty in the chair.
Dhananjay Chatterjee, Member Secretary of Upazila Puja Council and Pranab Kumar Pal, former General Secretary of Mahanta Kshitish Chandra Acharya and Mahanta State also addressed the function as special guests. The presidents and secretaries of each local temple and dignitaries of Hindu religion were present in the conference.
At the end of the conference Ranjit Kumar Chakraborty and Jhangkar Kumar Pal were declared president and general secretary of the Rahanpur branch respectively.
