Art competition held at Islamic University

Kushtia, March 15 (IU Correspondent/OurVoice): An art competition for children was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Tuesday.
The university authorities organised the event at Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium premises around 11:00 am on the occasion of country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday anniversary and National Children Day.
IU vice-chancellor Professor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam addressed the art competition as chief guest, while treasurer Professor M Alamgir Hossain and acting registrar M Ataur Rahman spoke as special guests.
Professor M Anowar Hossain, convener of the 7th March and 17th March celebration committee, chaired the programme where a total of two hundred children took part in the competition.
IU Bangla department Professor Tapon Kumar Roy conducted the programme attended by IU English department chairman Professor M Maher Ali, International Student Affairs Division director Professor M Shahadat Hossain Azad, among others, was present on the occasion.
