Workshop on Quality Aassurance Held at IU

A day-long stakeholder workshop on quality assurance was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Wednesday with a view to making qualified graduates.

IU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell organised the workshop at Birshreshtha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium on the campus.

IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed the workshop as chief guest and resource person while Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha spoke as special guest with IQAC Director Professor K M Abdus Sobahan in the chair.

Around three hundred students of different departments took part in the workshop.

Addressing the workshop, IU VC said that you have to ensure your quality to face challenges of fourth industrial revolutions. Getting a job is not your aim of education. Your aim is to give job to others.

Your education should end in smoke if you fail to apply your knowledge into skills, he added. He also shed lights on different sorts of skills including creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.
