A 6 days training program on “Veterinary Reproductive Ultrasonography” was inaugurated in Bangladesh Agricultural University on Saturday at the conference room of Surgery and Obstetrics department.
14 Veterinarians from different universities are participating in the training course. Head of the Department Dr. Rukhsana Amin Runa presided over the program while Vice- Chancellor of the University Prof Dr. Lutful Hassan was present as chief guest. Dean of Veterinary Faculty Prof Dr. Nazim Ahmed was present as special guest.
Course Coordinator of the training program Prof Dr. Nasrin Sultana Juyena briefed the course at the beginning of the inaugural session. She said, “Ultrasonography is known as the modern stethoscope of the 21st century. Now-a-days, pocket ultrasonography is very popular to diagnosis. It is very easy to carry and use and it has no harmful effect after using. It will be very easy to the trainees to work in field and own institution after the training.”
VC Prof Dr Hassan said, “It is a groundbreaking venture. Those who are trainee today, they will be trainer after some days. So everyone should learn properly. The university authority will support to organize the training in larger areas.”
