Professor Mamun made new IIER director at IU

Kushtia, 08 January (Correspondent/OurVoice) – Professor M Mamunur Rahman of English department was made the new director of Institute of Islamic Education and Research at Islamic University in Kushtia.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, was issued in this regard on Sunday.
IU vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed Mamunur Rahman to the post for the next three years.
He was appointed to the post as the tenure of previous IIER director Professor M Maher Ali of the same department came to an end more than seven months ago, the press release said.
The newly appointed director said that he would work for the betterment of the institution with the assistance of teachers and students of the university.
