IU to Launch Digital Library Access Center

The authorities of Islamic University (IU) will launch a digital library access center on the campus in Kushtia on February 8 with a view to mitigating the students problem.

IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will inaugurate the center as the chief guest at Khademul Haramain Badshah Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz Central Library in the morning, IU Acting Librarian Ataur Rahman said.

IU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha will be present at the function as special guests.

The university authorities will provide a website address to the students to use the access center. The students will get all kinds of information from the center by searching the title or name of their desired book from any place at home and abroad, he added.
