IU Student Dies of Heart Attack

Kushtia, June 03 (IU Correspondent/OurVoice): A student of public administration department of Islamic University in Kushtia died of cardiac arrest at his residence of Bhabanipur village in Rajbari district on Friday. 

The deceased was identified as Meer M Rafin, a masters’ student of the department.

IU public administration department chairman Professor Lutfar Rahman said that Rafin had been suffering from heart disease for several years. 

He suffered chest pain after having breakfast on Friday morning and whisked off to Rajbari General Hospital, where the doctor on-duty declared him dead.

He was buried at his family graveyard in Rajbari, he added.

IU vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam as well as teachers and students of public administration department have expressed profound shock at the early demise of Rafin.

They also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
