Int’l Virtual Seminar on ‘Effective Teaching’ Held at IU

An international virtual seminar on ‘effective teaching strategies’ was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Wednesday.

IU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell organised the seminar at VC’s residence on the campus.

IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed the seminar as the Chief Guest while Dr Jyoti Atwal of Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Centre for Historical Studies School of Social Science delivered speech as the resource person.

IU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman and Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha spoke as special guests.

IU Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif, Syndicate Member Professor M Mahbubar Rahman, Proctor Professor Paresh Chandra Barman, among others, took part in the seminar.

When contacted, IU VC Dr Rashid Askari said, “The seminar has been very timely, interactive and fruitful. All of our lecturers and assistants professors have joined the programme and benefited from it. We have comprehensive plans to organize more such international seminars under our Quality Assurance Cell during the pandemic.”
