The admission test of agricultural universities was held under the integrated system for the first time in the country. Under the supervision of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the first year admission test for the academic year 2019-20 was held simultaneously at six centers, including Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) on Saturday.

At that time, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Hassan said, ‘Students from different regions of Bangladesh have difficulty to apply and appear at the test separately coming to different universities. The government asked us to consider these problems of students and parents and also for an integrated admission test. In this circumstance, we decided to take the examination integrally for all agricultural universities.
At the end of the exam, the Convener of the Admission Committee Dr. Md. Zahir Uddin said, we got information from other centers that around 70 percent of the students sat for the exam. The admission test was completed successfully and no irregularities including question out were reported anywhere.
