Fresher’s orientation held at IU English Department

Kushtia, March 21 (IU Correspondent/OurVoice): The orientation for the fresher students of English department of Islamic University was held on the campus in Kushtia on Monday amid festive mood and much enthusiasm.
IU English department organised the programme at the second floor of Rabindra-Nazrul Arts’ building in the morning.
Professor M Maher Ali, the chairman of the department, addressed the programme as chief guest, while Prakash Chandra Biswas, an assistant Professor of the department, conducted the event.
Professor M Mizanur Rahman, Professor M Mamunur Rahman, Professor Miah M Rashiduzzaman, Liton Baron Sikder and Sazzad Hossain Zahid, among others, were present on the occasion.
Around one hundred fresher students of the department took part in the event.
Besides, the orientation of Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department, Accounting and Information Systems department and Law and Land Management department were also held on the campus.
