Rajshahi, February 28 (ERO/OurVoice): Equal Rights Organisation (ERO), a voluntary organisation working to protect the rights of the ethnic minority and marginalised communities, distributed education materials among the ethnic children.
ERO provides the aid among one hundred ethnic primary and high school students in a function held at Budhpara Harijon Palli adjacent to Rajshahi University on Friday.
On 16 July last year Rajshahi University ERO takes education distribution project under 2019-20 fiscal year. The students have received the aid for the last time under this project.
RU Folklore Department Assistant Professor and ERO Adviser Amirul Islam addressed the function as chief guest, while Rajshahi District ERO Vice President Polash Pramanik, General Secretary Shetu Roy, RU ERO General Secretary Adelina Sarkar Shithi, Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Koushik Chandra Barmon, Human Rights Affairs Secretary Shukomol Chakma were present with ERO Founder President Raj Kiron Das in the chair.
ERO Founder Raj Kiron Das in the programme said that only mindful students can play a vital role to build up a prosperous country and its nations. But the ethnic communities’ all people cannot prepare themselves with the present time. It is high time to prepare them from all of side preventing existing barriers. The founder also said adding ERO provides the support to the ethnic children so that they can see a dream to build their life by studying.
