Chapai Nawabgonj, February 14 (Nuhu Alam, Gomastapur Correspondent/ OurVoice): A 9-year-old child was raped in Gomastapur of Chapai Nawabgonj. Police arrested one person for interrogation in the incident.
Officer in-Charge (Investigation) Selim Reza, who is investigating the case, said the 9-year-old child was raped at her home at Kharakadanga in Radhanagar Union in the upazila on Wednesday. When her father filed a case with the Gomastapur police station on Thursday, police arrested one person on Friday. The child is being treated at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital One-Stop-Crisis Centre, he added.
