Dhaka, May 07 (JnU Correspondent/OurVoice): The Prime Minister’s Education Support Trust has issued a scholarship notice for recognition and encouragement to the unique meritorious Post Graduate students of Jagannath University (JnU) on the occasion of the celebration of Mujib year.
This information was given in a circular signed by the University’s Registrar Engineer Md. Ohiduzzaman on Thursday. The notification said that the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, under the Ministry of Education and the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust have offered the scholarship on the occasion of the celebration of Mujib year to recognize and encourage meritorious post graduate students. In order to select “Bangabandhu Scholar” and award scholarships to students of Jagannath University applications can be received from May 5. Applications can be submitted till 2 pm on May 9.
It further said that regular students in postgraduate levels with graduation/equivalent degrees can apply for Bangabandhu Scholarship. In addition, students, who currently received a scholarship from a government source and if convicted of a criminal offense will not be considered eligible to apply. Certificate of SSC, HSC and Graduation examination, marks sheet and certificate of Extra Curricular Achievements and copy of required paper works must be attached with the application form.
The required documents have to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by filling the form accurately within the stipulated time. The prescribed application form is also available on the website (www.pmeat.gov.bd).
